Q.  As a Yoga Practitioner what specific things will I learn?
     You will explore Ayurvedic constitution and its connection to Yoga. You will also attend dosha balancing yoga classes on Saturday and Sunday.      

Q.  As a Yoga Teacher and/or Yoga Therapist what specific things will I learn?
     You will learn the basics of how to teach an ayurvedic yoga class giving attention to specific needs of each of the Doshas.   Dosha balancing yoga classes will be held on Saturday and  Sunday.

Q.  How will this workshop benefit Nutritionists & Dieticians?
     You will learn about different Ayurvedic constitution and how to use food for health and healing in your life. The art of conscious eating will be touched upon in this short weekend workshop.

Q.   How will this workshop benefit Holistic Practitioners and Healers?
      You will understand the mind body connection and how ‘the science of life’ can be an umbrella to all healing modalities creating a foundation of health in mind, body and soul.

Q.   Who is a Caregiver?  What specific things will “Caregivers” learn?
      A caregiver can be a parent, a caretaker or family member of someone who is looking to learn a holistic
      approach to healing and its benefits in care giving.

Q.  What can an “Ayurvedic Enthusiast” gain from attending this workshop?
     Ayurvedic enthusiasts can delve deeper into this Vedic science and gain clarity of principles that he/she may have learned through different sources.

Q. What should I bring to this workshop?
    You can bring slip on shoes, loose comfortable clothing, writing material, yoga mat and blanket. There is also a list on AYC website of what to bring…

Q.  How should I dress for the workshop?
     You can wear loose comfortable clothing during the workshop and modest clothing that covers chest and legs if you would like to visit the Temple.

Q.  What is the “General Public” Talk?
     The General Public talk will be about the basics of Ayurveda to a large group of temple visitors.  Workshop participants are welcome to attend and may benefit from hearing the principles again and spending more time learning from Dr. Halpern.

Q.   Is this workshop a prerequisite for the upcoming 13 days Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy Certification Course in September of 2014?
      This workshop may help Yoga Teachers and Yoga Therapists connect with Dr. Halpern prior to signing up for the 2014 Certification Course.  It is not a pre-requisite, but is highly recommended.
